| Can Weight Loss Patches Help |

Weight loss patches may seem to be the latest in a host of weight loss schemes but some companies are making false claims about how well they work according to the United States Federal Commission. By suppressing hunger pangs and helping to rid excess fat by speeding up the metabolism the patch would appear to be the ideal way to lose weight.
As the weight loss patch is worn on the skin, there is no loss of important chemicals that some other weight loss systems loose when they are digested in the stomach. The chemicals released into the blood stream can be multifunctional so they will help to speed up a persons metabolic rate, stop the feeling of hunger and reduce the amount of fat and oil that is normally absorbed into the blood.
It has been know for some time that certain molecules can be absorbed directly through the skin and then into the bloodstream which means they are able to be used by the body much faster and for a more prolonged period. This is a much more efficient way to take drugs as there is little wastage which can take place when normal medication is taken with as much as ninety five percent of the drug reaching the cells.
If it were not for the size of the molecules this type of delivery system would not be possible whether it's to be used in weight loss patches ot any other type of medication. There are a number of chemicals found in weight loss patches but they are all pretty much the same as those found in other weight loss systems.
The effectiveness of these patches is still a matter of debate amongst experts as where the patches do work successfully; they believe there may be other factors that have not been added to the equation. Of course, when a person wears a weight loss patch there is a strong psychological urge to make it work and experts agree that this is an aspect that is difficult to assess.
The patches are best adhered to clean dry skin, usually on the back of the person trying to lose weight. Wherever there is excess hair, you may want to remove excess hair first on a particular area before putting on the weight loss patch or to choose another area where there is less hair growth.
This will make sure that the weight loss patch will not only stick better (ensuring optimum absorption) but removal will also be relatively easy and pain-free. It is not advisable to wear weight loss patches in the bath or shower because although they will still work when dry some of the chemicals may have leached out of the patch so the patch may not be as effective as a fresh one.
As with any weight loss supplement, weight loss skin patches are most effective when used in conjunction with a healthy eating plan and regular exercise, and shouldn't be relied on as a sole means of losing weight. |
